    I cut and spliced the speaker wires near the OEM JBL amp. Avoided running new speaker wires to the doors. I'll purchase an Alpine 4ch from BB tomorrow and report back.

    It looks to me like you are assuming the AmpPRO has power. I’m guessing you just swapped in the replacement and used your existing harness. Did you check the in-line fuse?

    Did you measure voltage on the RCA output?

    If the AmpPro didnt have power I would have no audio output. Yes I just swapped in the replacement. I haven't measured RCA output. What voltage should I expect?

    I ordered an Alpine 4ch from Crutchfield this morning. It will arrive tomorrow. Free returns if the issue persists.

    It would show line voltage, normally 1-6 volts at reference.

    Replaced suspect Rockford Fosgate amp with an Alpine amp and the issue appears to be resolved. Plus side is the sound quality is better. Down side is I ate the cost of the RF amp...
