I think Christina Chappetta is the best thing to happen to that outfit in a long time. I think she's hilarious.

    not enough.
not bad. I've been wanting to get one just like that so I can do the same thing. hook it up and weekend mode activated. and then at the campsite, leave it and not worry about taking down camp to drive the truck anywhere. But damned if I can't find a solid m416 for a decent enough price these days.

Addison seemed to have him a little man crush on Vlad. Also, Addison didn't really get his time to shine since most mechanical challenges happened afterwards.
Addison and Tom got knocked out kind of quick so I don't remember if they were on same pace as Evan and Ben.

Honestly, probably one of the reasons I follow Vlad on Instagram is because he rides within driving distance to where I live. He's been training at Windrock for months now.

I didn't know her before this show, what did she do before.
I assume she's a pro, because she was fast.

i thought addison was still slower than evan and ben on the few bike races they did. vlad was fun to watch for the entertainment factor, but ben was so big headed it made up for the missing vlad.

christina did a vid on her bike history on youtube a month or so ago. i dont think she was a pro racer, but was getting up there. that was a fun vid to watch too. my gf found that more interesting over all the other bike stuff i watch. it is nice seeing pink bike do more women riding stuff, especially since im trying to get my gf into it so we can do destination trips to ride and not just regular camping

Agreed, it's a lot of times easier for women to listen to other women as well.

I'll look into that video Christina did.

Christina raced EWS for a few years I think. But her riding videos - she talks to herself when she's riding, and its freaking hilarious. Her little sayings and phrases are just funny and charming. For how freaking fast she is, she comes off as really easy going and affable.

I'm thinking of building an all electric (no pedals, just foot pegs) rat bike. Motorcycle thing. Something to get around in town. Anyone with experience who could reccomend a motor, battery, and controls?

I'd check out CAKE bikes, if only for ideas. My coworker has one and its pretty wicked. No noise out of your moto though is an odd experience.

those are so sick but so expensive haha. If someone could build a homemade one that had comparable speed/power it would be awesome

I got really, really lucky when a friend upgraded his family and needed more tent space/storage/creature comforts and sold the trailer and tent to me stupid cheap. You hit the biggest benefits. It is a little harder to grab camping spots or get turned on trail around in the PNW, but the desert shouldn't be a problem. Should make for some good pits if we get a race season this year.

Bellingham... Galbraith and Chuckanut mtn awesome riding.

Watcom falls has a bad as swimming hole... ( might still be too cold in may)

Another Cool spot I checked out this past summer was Leavenworth, WA

I didn't get any chance to hit any of the trails up there looked like they had quite a few on trailforks. Sweet pump track that was walking distance from main downtown area bunch of restaurants and pubs.. Although may/june not sure trails would be uncovered with snow way up there

I've had my eye on a ZERO bike for a little while. They have some enduro dual sport looking ones, but they have come out with some legit looking street bikes lately.

I've got a little bit of a hot rod streak in me, but the things they're doing with EVs now is pretty cool. Glad we're finally getting past the "Nissan Leaf Eco Uber Alles" EV idea and making fun EVs now.

@dwphoto yeah Bellingham is tempting. Seems like a bit less of a getaway since it's very similar to my local surroundings. Leavenworth trails will still be snow covered.

Zero's are really cool too. I'd be more likely to get one of those. They seem like they'd be perfect for riding around town. The range seems a little low for big rides though. Cake bikes do seem super cool and fund bikes. I looked into stuff to convert like a small dirtbike into electric but it seems like there are too many options and I lost interest haha.

Range could be better, but they are quoting the city miles. My commute is pretty open flowing streets so it wouldn't be bad, but commuting inside my old stomping grounds of Crystal City or Clarendon would def cut the range by a lot.

which is basically where I live haha. Not a huge deal around here even if I used it to commute but If I wanted to go find some fun roads that would be pushing it since there aren't many good roads near here.
