Yeah that was discussed extensively in the WTF thread. The Rubicon has a 4:1 transfer case. 1st gear 4low would've back-driven the engine to redline at around 10 kph.

Just saying the engine was already done when the RV pulled out of the parking lot. The rest of the grenade action on the highway was just a bonus.

I would love to get a full clear bra since they're a little thicker than wrap and are self-healing with scratches, but they are expensive...

 

tear all of the paint off and coat it with Raptor liner! Just paint match it to Cement and you'll never need to worry about scratches ever again!

...or someone keying your car...
...or driving down the highway and having a freak pebble from across the highway fly and smack your hood...
...or kids playing around your truck and leaving their bikes against the truck...
...or random stones flying off the side of a semi that nails your side incredibly hard that you think you got shot...
...or when ice falls off the Semi in front of you and you slam the brakes to try and avoid it but still hits you...
...or when you try to load something into the back and it slips a bit putting a scratch through the paint into the side and you hope the wax is good enough to seal the paint...
...or when you're leaning into the truck to work on it, your jacket doesn't catch some metal shavings and you rub up against the paint...
...or when you're doing a night run and coming up from a sag in the road and a 20ft pine the size of my arm is laying across the road and it's too late to turn out of the way and you just try and it gouges the entire side of the truck so you invest in a 40"lightbar in hopes that i'll be able to shine enough light to see it and that i never happens again...

 

on the bright side, no one can see any of it...
on the down side, i'm the only one that can see any of it...

oops I meant bed tray, corrected my post. There was talk a couple months ago of DIY versions to the expensive aluminum models

i saw the backrack saftey rack in bottom of the first photo and figured to post that since a few days ago i had a Hawaii buddy shoot me a message of how i had done my bed rack.
