This video does not look "stock-able" haha. I would like to go here once but that first shelf-rock looks intimidating as hell.

I actually got this done on Monday by Premium Auto Films. The price tag hurt, but they did a pretty good job. Got my forward-facing lights wrapped with XPEL while I was there, too.

Anyone know of a good shop in the area to get Westcott front lift and Icon AAL? And subsequent alignment? Thanks in advance!

BTW, I do not have the tools nor the mechanical acumen to even attempt this myself. HA! I’m one of those people when I try stuff myself that whatever CAN go wrong usually does go wrong.

If you are going to pay someone to do it, I would go to Eastern.

Since you're CG, the Elizabeth City base has a garage that you can rent spaces in by the hour. Includes car lifts and (I think) all the tools that you would need. The staff also seem pretty willing to lend a hand if you have trouble. I used their equipment to take some tires off of a set of wheels, only cost something in the $20 range if I remember correctly.

The hobby shop at NAS Oceana is pretty good as well. I have used them numerous times.

I can second this for sure. I’ve done numerous jobs on a few of my vehicles and if I ever came up on an issue I couldn’t figure out there was at least one person walking around that would lend a hand I’ve also done wheel/ tire swaps and they showed me how to use the tire machine then they did the balancing for something like $5 a wheel.

Are there any go to shops/welders for getting a CMC in Chesapeake/VA Beach? My welding knowledge is very limited and I'd rather not use the truck as a learning tool for this one.

I'm slowly moving toward central VA (not quite to the Lynchburg yet) but if anyone is up for a trek to get latest latest and greatest OVTune-based offering (KDMax 6.0) I was setting up a FB event just south of Richmond for May 1st: I continue to get great feedback on how improved the accel pedal control and predictability is for Autos and Manuals. for those tricky trail ventures. For those that are local I am outta Suffolk so feel free to reach out if you are intrested.

    First, that is awesome!

Second, we need to find you a good dyno shop. Since they lock their VFTune everything would be from scratch when the dyno would really be needed.

Is the base Mag tune they provide just to base?

I have heard several folks are removing the flow adjustment (name is eluding me right now) and found a solid upgrade but that's not a tune just an easy hack.

I would really like to get one installed to be able to best provide tuning on this front but $wise I am not their yet. Let me ask K&D tuning ... I think they were considering Mag tuning and of we can make that work we might have a path. @PapaRee

Yeah, the brass restrictor from the bypass valve vacuum line. I took it out. Big difference. Their base tune is really really conservative and doesn’t take advantage of things like my Y pipe replacement. I’m grinding gears so no tranny shift crap to deal with either.

Excellent. Let me keep asking on option that can help. The right answer is a dyno but with the Mag locked tune we need a better route.
