this is the last truck I will tint the fronts this dark, its is a pain in the ass to get inspected every year. and of course there is a premium for that inspection.

That was the reason I asked, I see tons of cars and trucks around the area with really dark front window tint and it made me wonder. They're getting away with it somehow haha.

Some may be from SC, no inspections down there.

Shoot, I'm putting 5% all around on my GX and 40% on the windshield....I wish my truck windows were darker. I have 18% up front and 35% on the back, 50% windshield.

Anybody been following the guy on 4R.com doing a 2UZ swap in a 1st gen T4R? He did a 2UZ swap in a 1st gen Taco and sold it, decided he wanted to do it again in a 1st gen T4R

I've got 35% on the backs as well over the privacy glass, came out to 14% on the meter. I think it looks good, but it makes the fronts at 30% look too light now IMO.

Is this existing/old stuff? I've never had a lick of trouble with any of the PEX I've put in. I actually need to go buy a new roll of it, need to run water down to the dock, have been avoiding renting a trencher though....

That looks good, definitely a bit darker than mine. Much less contrast between front and back which is ideal.

That back tire looks like it's on borrowed time.
