Can someone walk me through the process of moving from a state that allows suppressors to another state that also allows suppressors? I was under the impression I'd need to notify the ATF of a change of address/state, but everything I read excludes suppressors from the 5320.20. Is there another form or anything I should be using or I simply move and it's no big deal?

This isn’t legal advice and to be 100% positive I would recommend contacting a lawyer who is well versed in the NFA world.
With that said this should give you what you’re looking for.

I'd email BATFE. All of them I've interacted with were more helpful than most Gov employees I've dealt with. Also if you email you have their response in writing.

SOPMOD stock installed, working on those Block II vibes. Need to pick up a TLR9, some rail covers, a better grip, and then I can think optics.

I went through this this past summer and just filed the forms. Really didn't take long to fill out and got them back in like three weeks. People Id talked to did the well it's not BUT thing. It is nice to have since the form 1/4 has the out of state address and the 5320 will show that you moved from there to new place. I also had SBRs so had to do them anyways though

Now it does get interesting when they decline and say the serial number isn't in their system lol

I had a receiver that I literally had to send them pics of the receiver to prove I was not misreading the serial. It took three attempts. Finally, with the pics they passed it on the third attempt.

Yeah I have the form 4 from them and tried twice and got "denied" twice. The annoying part is if you do list three items on the 5320 and one is wrong they deny all three. Least they tell you which one is not correct though

I'm looking for a cheap soft or padded stock for my wife's AR. She currently has a minimalist on it that's bugging her...any suggestions?

She wants something padded that's more comfortable. The minimalist bites into her shoulder too much. I was thinking of a slip over like a limbsaver.

I don't recall seeing any that are actually padded, but the Magpul MOE SL-K has a sloped snap for more area,,, I actually don't like them, as they lift my ears off my head to get proper cheek weld. If you want soft, you could add sticking foam pads, it's sold in sheets.

Sharp edges maybe? My stock sorta hurt til I took a file to the edges and rounded off the toe. Then a bit of sanding. Much better and comes to bear without snagging.

    Edited for clearer picture.
