Lots of reports of aftermarket cams losing alignment. Also reports of MOOG LBJ going bad early.

if you truck is a non-salt dry western truck you probably can reuse your cams/bolts but it’s always good to have new ones just in case.

Buy/use genuine toyota alignment cams if you need new ones.. Dont try to save $ on this part. The aftermarket (SPC) cambolts are crap and aren't worth the savings.

If you live where things get rusty you might want to have a fresh carbide blade ready for your recip saw.

OP, before you buy the Moog LCAs you might want to do a search to see what the Dodge and Ford, etc. folks have to say about their ball joints. Just saying.
Although costly, if you are going to keep your truck for a while I am an advocate of going OEM with the LCAs. The online dealers are going to be the least costly.

Just a thought... I recently replaced mine with Moogs because of a seized cam bolt. You probably don't need every bolt from toyota you can probably use the odd nut from one side or the other which while new hardware is nice it is spendy.

Curious so I already purchased the moog ball joints with the zirc fitting on it for greasing. Wanted to be sure before I install the lower control arms that the zirc fitting ball joints are the right ones to go with. Seems like everywhere I look everyone is having to replace the ball joints that come with the control arms to the zirc fitting ball joints.

The ball joint on the Moog LCA assembly is inferior to the spare Moog lower ball joint sold standalone. The Moog standalone ball joint is pretty good. Dirt King uses them in the $1700 performance LCAs

You'll also find the OEM cam bolts to be super expensive. You can try to find the Bison Stop Cams in stock somewhere: https://bisonoffroad.com/product/toyota-tacoma-05-15-4runner-2003-2009-stop-cam-kit They'll also hold up better than OEM in tough off-road use (less likely to get knocked out of position).
