Got the new tires and shocks installed on the wreck. I've pulled the bedside quarter panel out and straightened the braces underneath. Only one small crease left that will be underneath the fender flare. The Baja decals were surprisingly easy to take off. Just a small learning curve and some hot sun. Why would anyone put black graphics on a black truck?

Does anybody in the Salt Lake Valley do OV tunes? I'd rather just pay someone than buy the tuner.

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse. I got impatient clicking through this huge thread.

Tell me what you can do, and what a tune does to the truck.

Nothing for second gens, do you have a 3rd Gen (Turdgen)?

The software allows a lot of customization, there are thousands of posts on it here. To summarize, the 3rd gen stock has a tendency to gearhunt between 4-6 gear, has throttle by wire with a lot of dead spots/dead pedal issues, among other issues. Most all of those can be addressed with a tune.

Warning— my friend sold this truck a couple months ago with a rusted out broken frame. Buyer said he was gonna swap it but pics show it’s still the old Swiss Cheese frame on it.

No need to lift at all! Tires themselves will take care of the trimming, like on this guys truck

Oh trust me, these 35’s have moved plenty of fender out of the way. But there’s some serious metal that needs moved now... like a firewall and a cab mount and potentially some bumper material lol

Shit yeah! My spare set of beadlocks are the same backspacing and width as the methods you just ordered. Measured them this morning to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. They are 9" wide not 9.5 like I thought yesterday. We are gonna stuff them without any lift or body lift. I don't cheat and use bump stop spacers to clear tires.
