    Most of the tunes that drive well don’t seem to use much 6th unless you are over 80 mph with a tailwind driving downhill. Seems one of the best ways to improve 3rd gen drivability is to use more 5th and less 6th. Oddly enough it doesn’t kill mileage as much as one would think.

    k4.0 LT hates to use 6th gear unless i manipulated the throttle and some how force it to get into 6th sometimes i can use cruise to force 6th gear but of coarse it will pop out and go right back to 5th .

    Even stock tuned I was always manipulated shifting with the throttle or with cc to make the truck behave the on the hwy
