PM on how you have your awning attached. I just talked my sister out of an awning and she has the same shell. Nice tires (and everything else) btw

After much research I decided to go with the method racing series 701 rims that have the inner bead lock. I also went with the ToyoIII 255/80/17’s.

Heading out to death Valley to see how this performs.

I went for an off road excursion in my 2004 1st gen a couple days ago. The Falken WP MT01, 235/85R16s performed very well.
The trip consisted of dry hard pack glacial rock, wet/spongy loam, and soupy loam over round rock.
Several times I had to cross over 8"-12" trees that fell across road. One at 45 degrees. Again they did well, wet.
I was somewhat limited to test as I'd liked, due to not being able to deflate/inflate on the trail.

I'll be better prepared for the next trip.
Based on opinions in a group I plan to join, I ordered a MasterFlow MF1050 compressor and the JT Brooks Pro Tire Deflators.

I'm getting ready to order the Kenda Klever 33 x 10.50s. Lift components are on the way, too, but I'm not sure how long it'll take to get it all in.

I'm pretty sure I saw earlier in the thread that someone was fitting these tires w/o a lift or trimming mods. Can anyone confirm? I won't be wheeling or anything offroad until the lift is installed...mainly wondering if I'll be fine for around town stuff until I can make time to install the suspension components.

Stock wheels? If so should be fine, if you have negative offset rims or something you may rub on plastic.

So who's running 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 on aftermarket wheels? Hows the rub? Whats your wheel and lift specs? Currently running 255/85/16 on stock wheels with 2" eibach lift but wanting to go aftermarket wheels.

I would think you'd be mostly fine with a lift

Do these have any warranty on them? i was going to go this route as well, but the no mileage warranty is kind of throwing me off.

Hard core crawling and mudding tires typically don’t have a warranty. They’re not highway tires.

On Kenda's website and product description they are billed as an AT tire and specifically mention on road driving...im talking about the RTs.

Finally took the plunge after much procrastinating and bought 235/85/16 for 2nd Gen 2015 stock suspension.
