That depends, are you talking about using the primary (bright) LEDs as the turn signals? If so, YES, they will be way too bright to be courteous at all.

The backlights? Probably not too bright, but I'm not sure if adding extra turn signals to the roof is street legal.

Limit in Canada (which should be the same as USA because we just adopt most of your specs) is 750 candela (it's actually expressed as candlepower). An SSC2 with a flood lens is 373 cd and it might even be less with the yellow light I bought.

The height limit is 83 inches in the US standard, my Prinsu rack is lower.

No problem with auxiliary/supplemental turn signals as far as I can tell.

Interesting... I'm still not sure about having auxiliary turn signals (for example, I've never seen a car with 4 turn signal lamps on the rear) but maybe you'll be all right. Are you concerned with your visibility to others on the road?

I am going to connect them to a Rigid industries epilepsy strobe controller for when I am on the side of the highway helping someone. Also, for whiteout conditions. And I might as well connect them to the turn signals.

Not sure if anyone else is looking at the ditch light extension brackets in combination with Diode pods, these photos might be helpful.

With the Cali Raised brackets, I was able to get 2 SSC2 pods pretty close together. Bracket is 7 inches in length.

I ordered a second set of SSC2 lights, which I plan to mount side by side with the other SSC2s on the hood. I was hoping to run them close together most of the time (pointing forward). Maybe run them wide while off-roading so the light can point down and along the side of the vehicle.

Until the SSC2s arrive, it will be a GoPro mount.

this is good to know  I was planning on doing this once I got a pair of ss3’s. Keeping them fairly forward facing with the ssc2’s I already have mounted out to the side.

How's the ssc2s with your fogs? I just ordered pro ss3 and pro ssc2 so I'm curious how they look at night with the fogs

Haven't really used them together that much but there is a pretty significant change when you turn the 2s on. I am satisfied with them.

Do you happen to have a picture with both of them on to show the output? Or could you get one next time you think about it?

looks awesome. I just bought SSC3 and SSC2 for my hybrid bumper as well. Can you tell me what setup each lights are? Fog, driving combo or flood?
Did you tap SSC3 and SSC2 together or they work independently?
    Thank you
