I got bored and wanted to see what it looked like inside a headrest, so I finally put my new Benchmade to some good use and sliced it open...

The quality is about what one would expect from a Toyota product, but why the hell is the dealership asking $500 apiece for these damn things?

 

I one-upped the dealer and obtained a complete set from another TW member in Arizona for less than $160, including shipping!

 

The adhesive holding this metal bar in place seems to have worn out...

 

Date on the label coincides with when my truck was manufactured...

 

I do believe that the used headrests I bought came out of an ‘05 model...

 

Pretty sturdy looking, molding process probably drives the cost up.

 

Like I said; Screw the stealership...

I understand the need for a business to make money, but I’ve long suspected Thompson Toyota of simply pulling prices out of its ass!

You were the one who convinced me to join that autism forum; I don’t dislike it but I don’t like it that much either. I am a bit pissed at a group on Facebook right now because they declined my post for making a statement that separated Aspergers from other forms of autism; It is exactly this kind of nitpicking that keeps me away from autism communities...

 

That's ridiculous, almost sounds like a Home Owners Association running the group.

 

Also, the new wheels skins that I was supposed to ship to Myrtle Beach TOMORROW arrived today and two were severely damaged...
