6th gear is basically useless unless you are regeared or live in the flat ass Midwest.

weather here has warmed up a bit and seeing better milage on ultimate daily, I'm seeing almost 20 and its about 40-45F here right now, thats running 91 and running aprox 30% backroad and 70% highway running 55mph-70mph. so really pleased with the tune! I know once the nicer weather is here it should get better but I tend to drive harder in the nice weather as well..

Half of the AT problems can be solved by eliminating 6th gear. And you won’t lose any mpg. Its not the only way to solve the problems but its an easy way

Shifts good around town. Haven't tested it anywhere else yet though but this week I'll be going up to SLC a bunch (freeway time) and up a canyon or two. I'll report back.

I just don’t understand the infatuation with people wanting the truck to go to and stay in 6th at higher speeds. The rpm is too low for these engines as they don’t make shit for torque at low rpm like the 4.0 or a 2UZ does.

most think 6th gear means better milage, but if your lugging the motor under too much load that goes out the window

Just started to mess around with OBD Fusion as well, so far so good, so much to customize!

It's just frustrating that it's there, but hardly usable. I'm planning on 4.88s to actually make it act like it should. You can only do so much with a flash tune. Sticking w/ 33s and the truck is still fairly light.

Thats why the ATs need gears.

I’ll cruise at 2500 RPM in the manual on the interstate where my AT tried to do 1800 and lost it mind. I’ll average 20+ mpg no problem..
