I hate minivans too.

 

I finally got around to buying a new Denso radiator for my $500 4runner. Fingers crossed that a new radiator and a trans flush will remedy the "pink milkshake" issue.

 

I’d say it highly depends on how old your kids are and how often you think you’ll need the 3rd row. If kids are older than 10 but not close to driving age, then then van makes the most sense and you could pass it along to them once they’re driving, and not worry about them racing or showing off their ride for their friends lol. If they’re younger, or close to driving age get the highlander.

In-laws have a loaded highlander hybrid in black and it is really sleek sips gas. We’ve thrown a 20-something adult in the 3rd row to run around the corner but it’s not really feasible for long legs for more than that.

 

Might have one for sale soon that will have a perfectly functioning trans if you need it

No thanks. Last thing I need right now is another project, I'm doin a engine rebuild on my Landcruiser project so that's eating up my extra funds and wrenching time. If this runner isn't a easy fix its getting sold or parted.

 

I'm definitely not buying a new one. Might be CPO, but not new

We looked at a highlander today in Annapolis but it had been wrecked. We really just wanted to look to try and answer some questions about the bench vs captains chairs.

 

Ive got a Bruteforcefab high clearance. (And that 38" light bar)

 

This one needs a 4.30 rear end and a timing belt kit. Its beyond what I want to mess with. It runs and drives but its got bad rear axle seals

These are in stock now and half the price still and saves me a trip to Delaware. This was the best option for now
