Damn. I was hoping you could do my taxes and 5speed manual swap at the same time in my new garage.

you're kidding. I'll check that with the radiator. I was unaware that it had a particular clocking.. whoopsies.

    I will be doing this.

    System was certainly burped

I bought a block of CL 2 years ago, and tore it down nut and bolt, had surfaces planed and replaced everything except piston heads and rods. I've put more than a few motors together, I'm positive I assembled it properly, though reading this sparks a tad of doubt lol.

Thank you guys! I'll report back

This, and throw it in a pot of boiling water to make sure your "new" thermostat isn't defective if you haven't already

Wondering if anyone has experienced this and could provide some insight. Went to take the kids sledding Monday and I got a warning twice within a few minutes of each other that my engine oil was low. Each warning only stayed on for a few seconds. Oil level looked fine. Since then I’ve driven the truck a few times, maybe 3 or 4 times for a about 30 miles and the warning light hasn’t come on again.

The only thing I can think of is that I drove the truck through some pretty deep snow Sunday and Monday morning and maybe snow built up above the skid plate and triggered a sensor. I checked the oil pan bolt (fumoto valve) and filter and both show no signs of leaking. What do you all think could of happened? Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance.
