I assume I’ll need to pull the axle, clean everything real good then do the new boot. I’m lifted and can see wear rings where the boot is rubbing against other ridges in the boot

 

Yep I’ve got a CVT MT. Shasta extended fly hybrid on the way. Also bought this swag ground tent so I could get weight off my truck when I’m at Offroad parks camping!

 

Just get you a trailer and don't worry with weight
I can't wait to check out the new stuff on the camp trip.

2003-2004 GX 235hp/320tq
2005-2009 GX 263hp/323tq

The tq is basically the same I'll keep an eye out for you a vvt one though I can only go by what I've read, but the GX guys seem to like the earlier non-vvt and say there's not a noticeable difference.

 

I came with the same trans in my truck I actually have looked into it lol

I've seen the 4.7's pretty cheap on fb It seems my Tacoma has 236hp/266tq. It's enough for my uses....although that 320tq would be nice ...…..I don't think I'll ever need a high hp motor though.

 

I could get a urd supercharger for mine and it would give me about 250hp

 

I honestly don't know enough about it. I have just always assumed tq was better than hp unless you were at the drag strip. I will never need more than what my stocker gives me......so never really looked into it much

 

Torque is better for low end Off-roading but my truck so heavy it really needs about 50 more hp lol

 

This thing rocks in 4lo but sucks going 70 lol
