I spent way more time than I’m proud to admit attaching this first aid molle pouch to my armrest molle panel. It’s way too big to be attached properly, so I basically just strapped it around the entire panel. Not sure that I like it after spending so much time messing with it. I like the panel, I like the pouch, but not so sure about together. I may actually remove the pouch and just let it lay in the console. Here is the pic in case anybody was considering something similar.

Pretty much, u need to separate the fender a little bit to get to a bolt that holds in the headlight.

    Check build thread!
Does anyone know of an extension for the stock wiring harness so I could mount it my TBC in the center console instead of under the dash where my stupid lanky leg hits it??

Would the TBC be in the way if you mounted it directly under the steering column?

Changed my intake to K&N Snake Oil filter and intake tube.. Because it was on sale on Amazon and I figured why not, I needed a new filter anyway.

Improvements? Eh, it whistles loud as hell and gives a deep 'HMPHHHHHHH' when I'm WOT.. It feels a little less restrictive, but it didn't add 10hp and I didn't expect it to add even 1hp out of the proposed 10.

:annoyed:I parallel park by climbing the curb then dropping off. Then I know I'm right next to the curb. White letters out would be trashed in a week.

First real bath of the year. Touchless washes all winter can only do so much. Now I get to stare at all the swirl marks and scratches the dirt used to be covering!

P&S Beadmaker? How does it hold up? Is it comparable to Adams h20 guard and gloss? I've heard a lot of positives about it, but I'm on the fence about spending anymore on detailing products. I've already got gallons upon gallons of Adams and no it's not an addiction. :anonymous:

Just put a good paint sealant or synthetic wax on it. It's way better than polishing out the clear which is already super thin from the factory. Adams h20 guard and gloss and buttery wax is what I used on our black 2020 TRDOR 4Runner. It's washed weekly, sometimes twice weekly. I've only done paint correction once on this vehicle.
(Sorry had to delete the 4runner pic. I'll need to work on my cropping/ editing skills.)

I think I might switch to jescar sealant for longevity and I really want to try the new ceramic turtle wax. https://www.turtlewax.com/products/...mic-graphene-paste-wax?variant=39274368041013

Thanks for the tip. I have some scratch doctor I'll be trying when it gets warmer. Hopefully that'll take care of the pinstripes I got last summer. I'd love to get it ceramic coated, but that's $$$$. It definitely could use a wax when it warms up a bit more.

Floor mats count? It’s a work in progress.....
I’m in the same boat regarding the ceramic coat. I decided to give this stuff a try. I know it won’t provide near the same protection as a true ceramic coating, but it got pretty good reviews. So far I’m happy with it, can’t speak to longevity though

Definitely a cost vs. benefit when it comes to car detailing. It's become a hobby for me and a rather expensive one at that.
Ceramics are great, but the vehicle needs to be paint corrected first, which means lotsa buffing and labor. That's why $$$$. I've never used ceramics mostly for that reason, but I'm going to give the ceramic turtle wax 75th a try. It's got ceramic and graphene blended in it.

FWIW, most sealants and waxes last about a month or less if the vehicle is always outside. Ceramics might last 5 months outside realistically. I recently read that the car detailing product industry is kinda like the women's makeup industry. There is always something new, someone looking to make a dollar off it, and most of it's not that great.
