Looking for suggestions if anyone has any . I put up some moulding in my daughters room (first pic ) , i stopped it on the one wall due to an arched window . The dining room has the same setup (2nd & 3rd pic ) . I was curious if anyone has an idea how to make to crown moulding go completely around the room , not making it stop against the wall where the window is. I have thought about trimming out the window then somehow connection it to the moulding coming from the side wall.

 

Obviously Im in a different area than you but that is a pretty similar rate (per yard) that I just got on my project. Not an apples to apples comparison exactly as mine is for a 40' by 60' 6" slab with rebar and is a bit more yardage than yours.

 

Finally got around to it since I was in the basement when it kicked on and started making that horrid sounds again. Its a Goodman and
gms80703anbd is the model number.
The draft inducer is the issue for sure, it is the Revcor 77-138-00.
What replacement should I get? Lots of brands/designs?

Everything else looks and sounds good for now. The HVAC guy was gonna charge like 4 times the cost of the inducer to replace it. Nope. That's truck money! Ordered the Inducer, should be here today. No more loud ass furnace! *knock on wood*

Here is my next project: To put a frost proof faucet in, so I can wash the truck year round. I have the hole dug and am now waiting for my step son to be available, so we can put it in. The faucet cost $74 and the blue Pex (flex) line was $46. Costly, but it should be worry free and functional year round.

 

We lay some heavy filter fabric down in the bottom of hydrant hole and put a 5 gal bucket of washed drain rock in , wrap it up with the fabric , that gives the hydrant a capacity to drain the stem into when you shut it off , also don't leave a hose attached in winter

 

Thanks I was told to put some rock at the bottom. I have #2 limestone for that. The fabric and bucket sound like an even better idea.

 

Don't want to confuse you , I was just meaning the volume of stone we put in is about a 5 gal bucket full , not that the bucket goes in the hole

 

You can cut the bottom out of the bucket. Then cut a small notch in the bottom of it to go over the supply line. Then fill the bucket up with stone. Then filter fabric just the top to keep any back fill out. Same principle just a little cleaner using the bucket method.

Okay so I’m going to build a 6x6 wooden deck and steps going down once my patio is poured in a few weeks. Picked up some lumber and hangers today, so my question is what kind of bolts/screws do I use to mount these? Anything special? These will be used under the floor of the 6x6 deck for supports going across so there aren’t any exterior screws down the sides. I’ll be hanging 2x6’s in them.
