    Hi All,
I am driving a 2007 Tacoma. I finally got the 2016 Entune HU I’ve been looking for to replace my old one. I also purchased the
20-28 pin PT546-00120-CH harness for direct plug and play compatibility. However, because my truck never had any Bluetooth hands free functionality, I do not have a harness to plug into the 8 pin end of that adapter. As such, when I turn on the head unit and try to connect Bluetooth, I get a ‘microphone not connected’ notification. Does anyone know of a good way to get around this, or have any advice before I go overpay for an OEM hands free mic from dealer?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jackson

Thanks for the info. Just called the local Toyota dealer; I paid less for my head unit than what they want to charge me for this mic. I will try to source elsewhere

These affordable prices you speak of seem to be hard to come by up in the great white north. 90$CAD from Toyota. Not too bad I guess, got great prices on the rest of the parts for this project.
