I'm an idiot. I thought I wanted it for hauling lumber and my canoe. I have that roof rack that works well, but it's a little harder to load my canoe solo (kayak is easy). So I figured I'd put up the new bed rack for the non snow months and remove my Tonneau Cover and then put the Tonneau back on for winter. Well I really need the Tonneau on all the time as I'm transporting tools often and don't want to deal with rainy days. I'm going to pick up one of those hitch mounted bed extenders to haul the occasional long load (which won't be that often) as I'm focusing my work on smaller jobs....but I want the option. I can also use the hitch mount extender upright to hold the canoe. Having the two racks really doesn't make much sense.

I even considered getting another cap. But can't justify that cost.

If I could find a hard tonneau cover to color match to the truck I'd be thrilled. But I know that's nearly impossible.
