I've got 96.5k miles. Had the differential recall done when I got the notice back in 2017. No issues as of now. Not planning on any issues in the foreseeable future.

Stock, but not stock (but stock)
2016, 85k miles. No recalls, no mechanical issues (knock on wood). Minor annoyances like the window kazoo sound, passenger dash squeek, overhead console wire rattle all fixed diy thanks to TW!

114,000 miles, second set of brakes, third set of tires, second set of plugs, everything else is original. Still runs and drives fine and the clutch is still strong. Seats feel the same way the did new and look about the same as well. Overall pleased

I have a grey 2016 Access Cab SR5 4X4 with 2.7 and auto trans. Has 43000 miles and no troubles so far. I live in SF with hills so the automatic tranny works good. I’ve taken some road trips to Colorado, Montana, and Idaho and it’s great on the road. Usually just me and no towing. Miss regular cab Tacoma and MT. But, really like this truck and keeping it for awhile.

so THAT's why my seat has sucked lately. I couldn't figure it out. good call.

    2016 TRD OR AC. 52k.
AC shit the bed, dealer fix but only about 80%.
Needs body mount fix (they scrape/squeak)

Everything else has been great so far, love the truck. I've been so tempted to trade up considering the trade in values but I love the Quicksand color so much...

Bought my Texas build 17 DCSB, 1/28/2017. Three recalls, rear diff (not leaking), blower motor (worked fine but dealer replaced), frame (coated @ factory). Had front cab mount replaced under warranty, new battery, tires and normal maintenance. 56 K miles, good mileage, does everything I need it to do looking good while doing it! Smart move!

Its fun to me how there are 2016s built in 2015 and Im over here in my 2017 built in 5/17. I could have a truck 2 years newer than the early 2016's? Also surprised to see so many low mileage's posted in this thread, average use should put all 2016s at least at 50k.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Bought mine early January 2016. 65k, zero issues other than expected. 2 batteries, tires, and filters/oil. Will do brakes at 70k and she just keeps running along.

It will be 5 years in the end of April for my 2016 TRD OR long box. I have 31700 miles on it and the truck has done everything I needed it to . I had minor but annoying rear end howling , rear end gasket seeping , hood vibrating , and the several TSB's for the transmission shifting all pretty much fixed in the first year or two . Since then , all has been trouble free .
I think TW has been a mixed blessing for my relationship with my truck . I would have just excepted the shifting quirks the truck had when new , instead I read here about the ECU TBS's to go from 04b01 to 04B04 and the howling fix TSB etc. . In between the TSB's , I bought and tried the Shift sense Pro for shifting and Ovtune . They helped a lot but by the time I got to the final 04B04 TSB from Toyota I do not think they are needed unless you regear or add a lift, larger tires , or a lot of extra weight . Mine is still stock .
Anyway , now it is time for the truck to live up to the famous Toyota reliability reputation . That's where the other side of the mixed blessing with TW is by reading about the various expensive problems with bad injectors, valve seat compression problems, torque convertors failing , timing cover oil leaks , plastic coolant crossover tube leaks and other problems , has me always on guard lol.
Still hoping this is my last truck and , well it is just a truck like any other truck , but this ones mine and by golly , I like it .

Totally agree with you, I have the howling and I don’t want to deal with the dealerships pretending not to hear it so I’m not sure what to do.

Tacoma world is awesome but it makes me paranoid lol
