I pulled the air conditioner belt idler puller last night. The bearing is shot so I'm buying a new one today. Of course I though the problem was in the power steering pully so I pulled that belt off to check it first. That was more trouble than I thought it would be. :(

Check out this thread for local happenings. We used to do a lot more wheeling/mod days but it has slowed down quite a bit.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nj-b-s-thread.274779/page-3694

I personally save up my trips for bigger trips or just do all my shit myself anymore, seems that's pretty common with the people who have been around for a while now. We used to be out wheeling every other weekend and mod days several times a year though.

Fairly certain when my new 4wd trans was pulled they stretched out the kickdown cable:facepalm:
I have it adjusted almost all the way out and it still likes to shift weird at times. Guess I'll add that to the growing list of things to replace

    nice I'll check it out.

I bought this one because I liked my buddy's green V6 5 speed. He's on 33s, he has an alucab shell and a rooftop tent too.

idk where you're located, if you're up near warren county you've probably seen it, its got a big "CLUBLOOSE" sticker on the tailgate.

You can adjust at the drums. From my experience though you can only get it so tight before it drags when released.

Swapped my front diff for a 4.56 unit. So far so good. No noises no leaks (yet).
Man that was a sucky yet fulfilling job

How old are your drum pads?

There is a bit of adjustment on the ebrake back there.

But first I'd just check the pads and that they are set right. You'll see an improvement in braking too.

You want the pads to drag a bit so that the wheel only does 1 rotation before coming to a stop if you spin it freely. Use the star adjusters on the back inside the drums.

Yeah I'd check em. Can't hurt. That'll make a bigger difference than anything. Probably good to check the adjustment once a year or every other oil change

New pads fixed mine. I am working on replacing my clutch on my 99 and am wondering if someone his tips or tricks I might need to know.
