nice set up with the strobes in the fog lights i like it im thinking about that also and getting hid head lights is that something easy to do or have some one to do and would it not be a good idea to have strobes and hids? and also did u spray paint your grill black? it looks nice

I live near the Michigan/Indiana Border, in Michigan fire is red, police is blue/red. In Indiana it's reversed, so I have to cover my lights with a banner that reads 'out of service' if the light bar has red that is visible when not lit. If I run clear with red filters inside then I'm good to go. Horror stories circulated the area of guys being pulled over for 'impersonating an officer'. Funny, I didn't think Indiana Police ran out dated Excalibur light bars and rusty long bed dodge rams....:jerkoff:

No doubt thats why I think everyone in the states should be on a certain color, if I travel into another state (im running leds so I'm ok) I dont want to have to cover my lights.

I had an Excalibur light bar with clear domes and red and amber filters. Switched from Red domes just for that reason, it was a hassle covering the light in the winter for a quick day trip to Indiana.

The strobes in the fogs look great! I couldn't figure out a good way to do it. I still need to take some video of my setup.

I've been sitting on my thumb about it long enough. I think this weekend I'll be installing my roof mounted light bar to the truck. My buddy is hell bent on drilling a hole through the roof  and running the wire between the steel and the head liner, down the B post and up under the seat. My concern is the Airbags. I'd prefer to just run the wire (pretty good in size, maybe 1/2 - 3/4in in Diameter) down the outside of the cab and up through the floor, but it could look pretty tacky.

Suggestions? I've run the wire through the 3rd tail light before but again concerned about airbag locations and setting em off or interfering with them in the event I need them to go off.

My only experiance with airbags is cutting around them when popping a door on the freeway, never owned a truck with more than a steeringwheel mounted bag before.

Ha, He says "Oh shit, Every vehicle I've owned in the last 15 years has a hole in the roof from a light bar"

I'm thinking if I can peel and peek at the placement of the airbags in the C post that through the 3rd taillight and down the post is the ticket.
