Yesterday. Did my 5k Toyota care checkup. Never been to that dealer before... never going back. One of those dealers that is like a kiosk as opposed to a shop. On to the next one

I feel like this happens at shops too much. There should be like a test drive for shops, where someone can go in, see how the shop is run, then decide if they want to bring their cars there. Often it just ends up like a bad date, but instead of sleeping alone that night, your truck is damaged and you have to go back.

Hindsight, I should have done just that! My sliders arrived in the local shipping warehouse a week ago, should be delivered tomorrow! It was nice to dispatch (everyone takes their frustration out on them, but just politely said "any Saturday slots available". :)

My wife heard me on the phone, "What did you order?". Running boards so it's easier for you to climb into the truck.

Was totally worth the drive and installation fee. Those guys are going places, it's a nice shop and they are growing. If anyone is in proximity and considering this, do it.

The culinary industry used to be like that. You’d spend two days interviewing in the kitchen, they’d get a look at you, see if you had any sort of knife skills, you would get the view of how the kitchen ran.

Installed the Spotter Mirrors. Defintely an improvement. Shout out to @Devious6 for his simplified process, went a lot easier than I thought.

Awesome! I just installed these as well, with the BSM sensor. I love that I can see my tires now while backing up. Easy install, although pulling plastic tabs or clips on vehicles always feels sketchy.

Put on my new 1/8" Aluminum tailgate panel. Got a local fab shop to cut me a piece to replace the old plastic/ fiberglass one. No more spilt beers! Also looking forward to running stoves on the tailgate.

I agree, yanking on my mirrors caused me stress, but warming them up with a hair dryer and taking a leap of faith worked out for me!

Could you send me the exact Amazon link for the intake tube you ordered? I'm having a hard time hunting it down, all I'm getting is full "cold" air intake kits and its really pissing me off.

Looks like the $25/off coupon is gone... The price is still lower than a lot of other places, though.

Remove the plastic panel. Sharpie the aluminum, punch, and drill. I'm tempted to use spray paint but that reduces the resell value. Hmm, any market for a stock panel?

The only time you make a drawing is when you will CNC a bunch. I built my own CNC, use for aluminum & wood, but what a pain in the rear. Too noisy, and I've got too many other things to mess with.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYhhqex0MbI& (Kill the volume, it's loud). WD40 keeps aluminum from sticking, air is used to blow out the chips.
