Old stuff more of that durapex shit, this time on my hot water recirculation system return line. Looks like I'll be making some home insurance claims. Frustrating!

My place was built in 1964 with well water and still appears to be all original copper still and no issues.

Really nice to not have a finished basement ceiling so that I can get to anything plumbing or HVAC related easily.

Yeah my Grandpa built their house himself in '62 with all copper on a well and they have never had issues. @SearArtist may have just had a bad experience with some hard water or something, well water can vary a lot.

yeah well water can vary in ph level and hardness...pinholes have happened in both my parents house over the course of 20 years until my dad did an entire replumb and has happened in my house already too.

I would go with Uponor PEX if I had to do a replumb or was building a new house.

If its just 20, I know a guy that will not give you crap if it is close. DM me and Ill tell you the location. I have 70% on the windshield, 20% on the front sides to match the factory back and they never ask questions. As long as its not limo tint or something.

That’s the ghetto mart near jc smith? If yes, that area is full of entertainment. My wife used to live off rozzelles ferry.
