    -285/70/17 C Load Toyo AT3’s on 17x8.5 -12 RRW RRH-6
-6112/5160’s at #5/#6, SPC arms at ~+4.5° caster, and OME Heavy Dakars.

Took out the front mud flaps. Barely noticeable rub on the flares by the cab mount which I’ll just trim down. I think that’s everything.

I did all my own vinyl work. Just 3M stuff from Amazon. It looks good up to about 10 feet out.

Nice man - how was it wrapping around the shark fin and 3rd brake light? I've wrapped a couple 3rd gen roofs and that section in the back is pretty tricky to get it perfect.

As it happens, I had leak and I wasn't sure where it was coming from, so I dropped the headliner and pulled the fin and light to seal it all up. That made it a lot easier to wrap. The topper was quite a bit harder cause the brake light was still in place, and it has some complex curves where it meets the cab.

Honestly, the hardest job was the hood. Trying to follow the body lines took forever to lay out, and I didn't get it perfect. I dont think anyone would notice unless I point it out, but I see it every damn time I walk in front of the truck.

I have re-read this and now understand it lol

consensus seems that if i got the 701's w/ 34's i might rub the UCAs and need to run spacers... time to shop for new wheels i guess lol

And the tough part there is "might". It sounds like different people have had different experiences. Or in terms of wheeling, might push their trucks differently.

More and more, I'm feeling willing to give 0 offset a shot, but I don't have the type of disposable income to end up with "eh, guess they don't fit, oh well I'll buy the -10"

For what it's worth, this pic is a comparison of my current setup with 255/85R16 on the stock OR wheels. It doesn't account for the actual sidewall bulge, and obviously don't pay attention to the silhouette suspension assembly, I'm not relating it to that at all. But if you look at the placement of the tire/wheel assembly, I in theory shouldn't loose any clearance on the UCA side.
Screenshot 2021-03-21 101134.jpgit LOOKS like at no point should the cross section of the new tire on the 8.5 0 offset wheel, cross paths with where the existing setup is.

The image below would be with an 8.5 -10 wheel.
Screenshot 2021-03-21 102117-2.jpg Definitely moving further away, but also increasing that swing/radius towards the cab. I've already done my cmc, but it still may be close if I'm wheeling, in heavy articulation, and turning.

Next, I was really bored, and had an old set of 2" spacers sitting around our office, so just for shits and giggles I threw them on my current set up (and those mofos will definitely be coming off, lol)
but it was an experiment to compare here.
The next image is of the 255/85R16 on stock OR wheels (16x7 +25) with a 2" spacer. which works out to a -26 offset, compared to an 8.5 0 wheel.
    Screenshot 2021-03-21 102515-3.jpg
In this experiment, we're really only looking at the outside face/corners. On the truck right now, that outer shoulder of the tire gets quite close to the cab mount (even chopped). And while I haven't tried wheeling with this god awful setup, daily driving for the past few days with steep driveway entries, deep dips, trying at full lock, etc. I haven't had them rub on the cab yet. So, this is making me feel pretty confident that the 0 wheel should work fine. Obviously there's a difference in the OD of the tire, but it seems like it'll be ok. I think. Again though, it's a lot of $$$ to drop for it to maybe be fine. And it's not like there's a spacer out there that'll give me JUST the extra 10 or 12mm I'd want to correct it with if the 0's don't work. Seems like the smallest available would be .75" which would shift from a 0 offset, to roughly -19mm, which I'm confident would be way too much.

So here I am, researching, testing, and still not ever knowing wtf to do, unless I just say fk it and drop them dollars and cross my fingers.

Also, those comparative images are generated from willtheyfit.com we used to use it when I was still a "tuner" lol.

This may be a shot in the dark but anyone running these with the 6112/5160’s, spc ucas and 17x8.5 0/4.75 wheels? Wondering if they tires will rub on the ucas? Would prefer not to have to run spacers or get new wheels.

Mine is a 285/75/17 but they didn’t mention any issue moving them over. Maybe the 295 required something different? C8B149A1-2D49-41C7-8A21-349081DF09F4.jpg

Thanks. I now have 285/75/17 hopefully to get mounted later this week.

I'm guess your Icon is 17x8.5 0 offset? Which UCA and any wheel spacers?

I’m curious as well. Looks like spc with bilstein 6112’s which is what I have. Hopefully someone has had luck running 0 offset without spacers.

Looks like i clear the JBA uca plenty with the .75" wheel spacers but barely rub on passenger side at full lock on the cab mount. I did have CMC, but no alignment yet.
