Do you have a power driver seat?

I'm debating about the Desert Jackers, but thinking of putting them on the passenger side, so I have a place to mount a fire extinguisher.

No, I have a 2017 no power seats. I will be doing a part 2 video with some storage options, EDC stuff and mounting my Fire extinguishers also.

Honestly, I've never touched the stuff and have no plans to after reading the sds sheet especially section 3.2 which lists the chemical composition:
    https://media.napaonline.com/is/content/GenuinePartsCompany/173482942pdf
Methanol, Naphtha, (both extremely flammable liquids), petroleum distillates (common in most detail products), dimethyl siloxane (silicone), and tall oil (byproduct of wood pulp processing).

I don't see much good about smearing a bunch of tall oil and methanol all over the paint or how they can advertise this as such a wonderful product. I doubt it will remove swirls. I'm sure it works wonders for stripping anything off the surface, maybe filling in some defects temporarily and making the paint look shiny though.

There is no quick and easy way with polishing. It takes prep and time. Hand polishes are available from Adams or Meguiars that are decent, but not as good as machine polishing. They're great for small scuffs.

If you're on a budget and aren't willing to deal with the upkeep after the paints corrected and you wash your car with regular bath towels (I used to before I knew any better), some generic wash and wax from Walmart or Costco like meguiars, mothers California gold, ect. and some spray wax would probably be better. I've been wanting to try this:
    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Turtle-Wax-Hybrid-Solutions-Ceramic-Spray-Wax-Coating-16-fl-oz/423331361

and I've been really impressed with this:
    https://www.lenosgarage.com/products/hand-wax

    UPDATE:
This would be my recommendation for your black truck with swirls. It will fill in defects and it's tinted dark to help with black paint and can be done by hand. Best of all, it's cheap at $20.

Score! I wanted a front recovery point. Got this today for cheap. It wouldn't work with the bumper the original purchaser installed. Been sitting in his basement for over a year. I looked at other options, but nothing is rated near this ARB. I'd hate to throw something on there used for cosmetics (a lot of people are installing a certain evil bracket on this forum) and have someone think it's a real recovery point only to have it fail and hurt someone. It was this or the mobtown front receiver, but after reading a thread on that I am glad I got this. Trying to figure out if I am going to leave it red though...

A friend was at the Brisbane 4X4 show yesterday and sent me this teaser. He's got a Prado and he's looking at the Hilux for his next vehicle. I sure would like to get one of these diesel LCs!

I have a 2020 with a power driver’s seat and I just installed the Desert Does It seat jackers, along with the MMP and fire extinguisher mount. First off, you do need to readjust the height after installing them since the front of the seat might be too high but once you do it does make it feel like the seat has more thigh support. I purchased a second set to install on the passenger side but I haven’t determined if I’m going to move the fire extinguisher over there yet because when I’m on a road trip I tend to have a bag or two in the passenger side/seat and having to dig through them in an emergency wouldn’t be good.

“ChloeKuoTaco” will get you 10% off too.

I clay barred then used the TW ceramic polish and wax (not spray) and a orbital. I'm no pro, but it looked great! I use the ceramic detailer after/between washing.

180mph hurricane rating. And I'm not near any beaches so it's very unlikely the building will ever see close to it's rating.

I also have a 10x20 that I use as a woodworking shop.... It gets SO MUCH hotter than the garage. I set up a window AC unit in it and before I go in i would spray it down with water, at one point I even put a sprinkler on top of it LOL... That would drop the temp 10-25 degrees quickly.

How far can you move the power seat forward before the wiring under the seat hits the mount panel (without anything attached to the panel)? My wife needs the seat at least 3/4 of the way forward.

It actually just clears the MMP (multi mount panel) EVEN with a fire extinguisher mounted. Of course, access to the the extinguisher is compromised.

First pic is at my normal seating position. I’m 5’9”.

Second and third pics are with the seat all the way forward.

I just want to give a shout out to Cali Raised LED, I bought a set of their rock sliders, and ordered them on March 11th, and they were ready for pick up on March 12th. Very happy with them, Jacob was very nice, and very professional. They seem to be well built and are very sturdy looking and feeling. I've got them on the truck now, and went to Barnwell Mountain Recreational area today, and; while I didn't actually end up sliding on them, the peace of mind was worth every penny. I have no doubt about them.20210319_175901.jpg 20210313_102457.jpg

Put on the TVDVinyl Decal SR5 wheel decals, matte black. And paid her off this week after only two years.
