After filling the back of the TRD Off Road emblems and allowing them to cure - it was time for installation.


1" down and 1-1/2" from the door edge and they are on.


Now they match the TRD Tire emblems, front red Toyota letters and red/black D-Rings...

Took it for the 100 MPH road test. Still on there.

 

Washed her up this morning and followed @ClassyTacos video and installed USB charger in the center console for my girls. Thanks for the video my friend it was exactly what I needed. Just one note for those of us with a newer Tacoma....toyota must have decided to save some weight on the wiring (I know it was cost) it is at least a 22 gauge wire. Classy’s video used t splices to tap into the wiring of the center storage. His appeared to be at least 16 gauge wire mine not so much. Had to break out the soldering iron. Be very careful not to mount it too high it will hit the cup holder. It is made clear in the video but me being me I missed that part. I had to find a work around. The video was awesome thanks Classy. You are going to cause me more work.

 

New OEM hood is at the paint shop. Truck goes in on April 1st.

I do believe that C21 has targeted that Iron Maiden decal, if it hasn't already been secretly added to the OIC via FRT. No worries, C22 will see that you aren't incarcerated very long. Are the wheels glossy or matte?

Looks like those are the glossy gunmetal TRD Sema wheels. The black TRD text on the center caps is the giveaway!

 

Yes sir. These are the T4R TRD Pro glossy gunmetal wheels.

 

Just installed pro shocks on my 2wd sport. Definitely rides better over the bumps.

 

Lift, CMC, ECGS bushing, and alignment completed today. Wheels and tires are next.

 

Yes, I install it by myself. Was easy and takes 1/2 hr.

 

Press/hold lock while also double pressing unlock- led will flash confirmation

also good for those that maybe worried about those signal boosters

 

I personally like the all red tails over the rest
