I think that site you sent is Canadian as it makes me switch countries in Amazon app. Thank you for that link though. Don’t think platform style will work with the kids bikes. I’ll go to the bike shop tomorrow and see what they say as we have 10% off since we bought both trek’s there.

My wife , BIL ,and I went last summer. It was nice but could have been better . Hope to go again and do some hiking and fishing. Did mostly sightseeing and to some degree I found it boring at times . Between my wife’s bad back and BIL feet couldn’t do much else but sightseeing. It’s beautiful there . So there’s that

Not much you, everyone present ?Woke up thirsty and hoping to get to sleep. Lot of stuff going on tomorrow/ today

 

Was gonna try to leave early today since I had already met my 40 hours. ended up needing me to stay.
45.8 hours this week or something like that.

 

I spent the coin on a Kuat platform hitch rack but it would be silly for 4 bikes. Same to be said for really any hitch platform style bike rack. Makes sense for 1 or 2 bikes, not 4.

I bought my parents an Apex 4 from Thule. They’ve been happy with it. I think 4 adult bikes is a total stretch but a few adult and a few children should be okay. Most complaints I see are about the strap system. I sold Thule products for a few years so I understand the complaint people have but I’ve never had issues myself. They have a locking cable and you can always go to the OG “extra bungee cord” if you’re really worried. I understand the complaint totally; if you dropping 500 on a bike rack it should be flawless, but the market is limited. Also I do like the swing out design for tailgate access but again, more coin.

What Yakima rack does the BIL have?
