yeah for sure! Last time I would kip up for the night and write something on Instagram etc for the family to see too

So far Wednesday night I drove from 3-midnight yesterday was 7a-midnight and today will be until about 9P in my first “early” night, I wanted to straight shot it to Amarillo after that it’s more relaxed.

my plan was 750-800 miles a day for the first few days (and it’s happening) then like 4-500 a day after that.

so yeah once I get some breathing space I’ll write it up either on a thread here or link up a blog or something for y’all

Not that anyone wants to hear more about the never-ending virus situation, but if any of you are worried about vaccine side effects I'm about 36 hours past my first Pfizer one now. I felt like I had been punched in the arm for a half day or so, but that's it. The second is supposed to be worse, but I'm a little less worried now and there is a sense of relief. I'll leave it at that.

I'm 29 with no health conditions so part of me felt guilty about being ahead of the average person simply due to where I work. But, I figured if there are side effects I'd rather be down a day or two now than in May when the weather is nicer. My next is April 7th.

They took PPE off the list unless directly related to health, so I still need to wait.....

Had both with the Pfizer vaccine. First one the arm was barely sore and zero post shot effects. Second one my arm was a bit sore if touched but could not feel it in normal every day activities. Would have probably felt it if my job was to move 50lb bags of dog food around. No noticeable effects after the second shot although 4 of 5 of my fellow employees who received the shot called in sick the next day.

Me and a coworker are about a month post full Moderna vaccination, 3 others have their first Pfizer dose. 2nd dose about 12 hours later all I had was chills and maybe a fever (I never checked but my body was roasting to the touch). Easily could have worked through it all but all it made for was a shitty night of sleep and woke up the next day feeling normal. Have had headaches/mild migraines on and off since then. It's probably just the microchip imbedding in my brain for tracking purposes. My pregnant wife got her first dose about 2 weeks ago now. Should be fully vaccinated before the baby comes in April hopefully!

That's all reassuring to hear! They say younger people get stronger side effects because they have stronger immune systems, and I know some of you guys are on the younger side.

I'll find out in 3 weeks!

Not sure what age "on younger side" references? o_O

In all cases I have heard if there were any side effects, they were short lived and manageable.

Edit. My 82 year old mother had the same results as me, slightly sore arm the first shot, a little bit sorer arm the second shot but no abnormal issues after both.

I had COVID infection (healthcare worker so not shocked) in December and got vaccinated roughly two months later in early February. Pfizer shot and had a sore arm for both shots, nothing aside from that. I should have plenty of antibodies now haha.

Had I had a bike in my younger years I would have died. Always kinda wanted one but not a huge desire, probably for the best b/c my wife would never allow it

Fastest I drove was a little over 135mph for a short burst. The rental Mercedes had more in her.
Sustained cruising speed anywhere from 100mph up to 120ish.

Both hands on the wheel and paying attention in a big way. No distractions at that speed.

That Katana scared me more than a handful of times

I dunno man, even my Harley gets going pretty quickly. Not CBR or Katana quickly, but definitely break the speed limit without realizing very quickly, quickly.

Picked up 100lbs of seed. Price went up $21 per 50lbs.

136 for contractor grade. That used to be closer to the premium price I believe last year.

Exactly, I never said the others weren’t quick, but that rocket saw triple digits quick. My average speed on that trip wa probably under the speed limit, as I would go slow for a bit, then quickly catch the vehicle ahead of me, slow down and do it all over again. It’s a good thing it was from Conway back this way, not many long open stretches, so I had my fun that way.

@crashngiggles my morning upsetting today was by a baby bottle. Imagine, grown man defeated by baby bottle!!!

I know a lot of you guys are Dad's so lets do an informal ask/poll.

How many of you can see in the dark?

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, let me wonder. Why would a baby bottle that is commonly filled at night in the dark when the parent is sleeping, have clear markings you cannot see without almost full light? Clear on clear guys! Who the fuck passed that in the disign process!!!!

I think a lot of bottles are like that? Why not put a little of the silicone the color of the cap or any color at all, even shades like black or white would be much improved.

Anyways, you guys ever run into this? I emailed them asking them how many of them see in the dark, and where they are from that, that is a possibility.:anonymous:
