We've got us a banjo picker in here? That's awesome! I play guitar and mandolin. Bought a banjo a few years ago but had trouble learning it. My dad gave me his dobro back in the fall. I traded in a 12-string Martin for it and gave it to him for an anniversary gift about 10 years ago. So I'm trying my hand at dobro now.
On another note, since his stroke 2 months ago, dad still hasn't gained any voluntary movement in his left limbs, so he may never play guitar again. We're still praying & hoping with him and trying to keep him positive and confident that there's still a possibility to regain everything. Those times of playing music with my dad may be sadly over. Those are some of our fondest memories together

Good morning all. The truck just might get a bath this weekend.

@PyritePirateBill, watching a parent go through later in life medical problems isn’t easy. I feel for you.

Doug's car is very impressive also. I can't decide if I'm more interested in the cars, or Cleetus's Toter and Stacker trailer..AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

I didn't work any harder, or any less than anyone, but, I knew when I was done. I think anyone with enough time in the bank of life deserves it. I keep busy, very busy sometimes and need to slow down on occasion. Lack of things to do will kill you. Don't be that guy. LOL.

I'm building a "Chuck Box" today for camping, in honor of the best Marine I know. Sempre Fi Chuck, and good morning to all.
Be safe out there, retirement can get dangerous to your health. LOL

Good morning everybody. It was a long day at work yesterday, I slept in till 0630 today. Now it’s time for coffee. Some yard work later and have a bunch of leaves to get out of the pool from the storm Thursday morning.

I didn't do a before one though so you wouldn't really appreciate the effort it took to get where it is now.
And I gave up yesterday - maybe I'll finish today. My back was starting to get tired and my feet were killing me so it was time to stop. And my fitbit says I did over 10k steps yesterday - all I did was go to Home Depot and then clean the garage for 5 hours. That's a lot of pacing around a 12x24 space!
