That reminds me, I need to pull my SCX10 out, charge it up and take on my next camping trip. Been a while since I ran it.

The wife found a YouTube video making DIY drawer slides using Rollerblade bearings. Seems to work pretty good wayyyy cheaper than heavy duty slides.20210304_145806.jpg

Anyone looking for a 1000W inverter?

I have a Xantrex PROwatt SW that was barely used. Hooked up in a previous project that was unfinished.

Send me a DM if you are interested.

Made good progress on the diy fridge and stove slides yesterday. Don't think I'll be putting too much weight on the far burner, but it should support all the weight I need it to

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Looks really good bro, now just setup your swivel grill light, utensil holder and garbage bag and you set!
    Wood floor looks dope!

Thanks! Just a sheet of vinyl remnant. Time will tell how well it holds up, but I'm impressed so far. I can't wait to actually build out and get some serious use of the camper!

Sorry, gonna blow up this thread with big photos now. Believe it or not, the last photo was *after* 25-30 miles of 4x4 road, even though it looks super clean. Guess pure sand roads + 45mph winds leaves things pretty shiny.

I very much would like to learn about the internal dimensions/buildout of the Nomad on that F150 since that is now the path I am going down... any chance you have photos of the inside which you can share?

He has no build out right now, it’s very recent that he got the Nomad.

A great camping spot near Valley of Fire SP, Nevada. It was a little cool, but certainly a great time to visit.

Camping with my son and his "covered wagon".

Share my love of old movies with my granddaughter. Took her to where they shot Gunga Din. She is probably one of very few 13 year olds who knows who Victor McLaglen, Cary Grant, and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. are. Guess I made my little girl into a freak.

395 is one of the iconic California road trips... movie and TV history (my favorite "Have Gun - Will Travel), food (Alabama Hills Cafe, Copper Top BBQ), history Manzanar, Convict Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, fun things to do, Reward Mines, Mammoth Lakes. Depending on time of year, it is a different experience.
Next time you are out this direction, I am sure a lot of guys would want to do a meetup.

If you are a fan, they have actual tours that are pretty rad! The docent at the museum is a wealth of knowledge.
