I'm looking for a holster that fits these requirements:
    • Glock 19.5 non-MOS
    • Surefire X300U
    • Trijicon RMR
    • QLS
    • ALS
I need a little drop off the belt to clear armor on the draw but don't want to go full drop-leg holster. Is UBL with a single thigh-strap the way to go these days? Really appreciate your help with this.

I believe most people go with the low ride UBL with the strap, I think the mid ride might make the strap angle irritating.

Since the safariland model selector doesn’t expect custom slide milling you have to select the MOS version of the pistol to get the RDS option.

The low ride holster for what you’re looking for is the 6395RDS, you would need to add a QLS kit as well as the strap.

I did a mid rise without the qls. But I'm also a 5' tall so maybe it wouldn't work for a normal human

Interesting, I imagine that the smaller frame definitely makes it more comfortable. I have each of the 3 height UBL’s so one day I might order the strap and try it with the different ones.

Awesome, they also have an adjustable height UBL but I haven’t been hands on with it for
    Durability review.

You're definitely looking for a 6xxx series holster. If you order from CopQuest like I did it can be pretty easy to find the exact model you need.

As far as mid ride vs low ride, and thigh straps: I run a midride with a TREX arms thigh strap, which indexes a tad lower on the screw and keeps the strap minimally high, but I also wear my pants pretty high and am ok with the thigh strap coming high on my leg. If the idea of the strap coming up to the height of your genitals bothers you, definitely go low ride with strap or forego the strap and stick with midride.

My model had the midride included, I had to buy a QLS kit separate.

I like midride with the QLS

I also have a 6005 leg shroud single strap with the QLS

I ordered a short stroke kit from optics planet yesterday. They've charged my card and said it's preparing for shipment. Waiting with baited breath to see if they actually ship

I have an old Savage .410 single shot. It has these little raised specs of rust all over. Can you guys recommend the best way/method to remove the rust?

Thanks. I’ve been rubbing with terry cloth and oil without any progress.

Get to pickup my Wrangler Bronze on Monday, gotta love the 10 day wait here in California. Like the black, but Turner's only had the bronze in stock and I've been jonzing to shoot but too cheap to pony up .60 a round to feed my Glock 19. Have rosewood grips ready to install. Hope to shoot on Wednesday at the gun club.
What's the Wolfe Spring kit do?

It lightened my trigger to a little over 2lbs. And it was an easy install. Maybe 5 minutes.

Guess I'll have to see how it feels when I fire it. Thanks for the input.
