    How about making short term, realistic goals that get you to that end goal;

    consolidating and getting rid of things you don't want or need.

    cost of living, does it make sense?

    Things to consider in the long run that may make or break;

    current house, do you sell it or rent it out?

    new residence, do you buy or rent?

    looking into employment opportunities, if you require to switch employers?

    Just things that came to mind when I was planning to move.

    My biggest hurdle was getting rid of some debt, being the monthly payment on the 5.0

    What's your biggest "hurdle"?

    I think it's good to break it down into small steps like this. The idea of moving is so simple to imagine but actually putting it into motion is another thing entirely. Been struggling with that myself since we made the decision to be out of LA in the next year or two tops

    Yeah, last time I moved it was:

    - quit job
    - fix parts of house
    - put house on market
    - put roof on house
    - deal with realtor
    - deal with buyers
    - look for a place to move to
    - pack all my crap
    - move all my crap

    All at the same time.
    And I had it pretty easy.

    I was gonna say doing all that one at a time, primarily quitting job first, would stress me out hard haha. But doing it all at once too would be stressful on it's own.

    Ideally I want to find a gig that puts us in a place we want to be. But if needing to find work after the fact becomes the reality I'd like to have more in the bank just in case before that happens. Particularly cause I'd want to clear up some debt too before a big move.

    Then there's the current job offer, which of it goes through would force us to do it in a matter of weeks.... Not looking forward to that if it happens

    I remember mentioning it in the forum for some months prior to Moab, and it was only because I was working towards those small goals, that I was able to see myself move sooner than later.

    As you know, things had changed in my life (for the better), but because I had other things moving forward already, it's making this move and transition that much easier as I was already prepping for it.

    Yeah. The reason I had it easy is had saved up, and the mortgage was the last of my debt. Once the house sold I was back in the clear.

    I also wasn't going to a job, which was kind of ... scary. :laughing:

    Its hard to plan the specifics a head of time - they sort of come at you when they do and always have a little variation compared to what you expected. But, being in a good financial position and being organized can make a huge difference in the level of frustration.

    Well we've got two white Gladiators;

    One is the Mojave which run Fox 2.5 w/reservoir and rear locker

    Or the Rubicon with Fox 2.5 and both front and rear locked
