TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

Same. I have heard some stories about service from them, but I have had no issues (knock on wood) and I've gotten quite a few things from them, problem free. And Gadget has always answered my questions to my satisfaction when I called before purchasing stuff.

 

And I was thinking by now there were only 1-2 of us left!

I'm still running it. I wish they had more documentation on what it all does, what signals are spoofed so I know how to interpret the obdll data, access to the knobs and dials...
I'm assuming the ucon cannot adjust speedometer for tire and gear changes? They do ask what tires and gears your running when configuring.

 

So my dam arp bolts got back ordered again!!!....first to 3/19 and until 6/18. What a bummer. I really want these to do my headers, then my hptuner

Obviously I still run it. We can't let cancel culture take out the UCon. I'm still not over Mr. Potatohead, I don't know what I'd do if they took UCon.

I don't think it does adjust the speedometer. I asked Scott some years ago if I should use the HyperTech recalibration device and he said yes.

 

Edit to my previous post......I located 2 sets of the arp stud kit needed for our header install.

ARP 434-1301, m8x1.75. I bought one at $105 so there is one left. There is a national backorder for these. Many places that say they have them in stock actually do not. So if anyone is interested, SRIperformance.com has a set. I told they guy a buddy (one of you) would be calling to order that last set........

I'm glad those that are using the ucon aren't having issues. I had issues and sold it back to urd.

 

I went from the APR x1 to the Ucon and been thoroughly pleased with how much better the truck runs withe ucon

It seems everyone I got on the phone to ask gave me the same date as summit originally did of 3/19. Then as I found out they moved it to 6/18, the first couple vendors I found online said the same. I’d buy the last set from where I got mine (post above) to be safe. He went to the rack and pulled them and said he had 2 sets physically in his hand before I bought mine.
