Yes I bought the tune pack and already flashed both the reg tunes for 87 octane. I want to now try the performance 91 octane but my files dissapeared. I use to have them on my desktop but since I downloaded the latest update There not there. My order # was 7255.

You either deleted or moved them. Check your recycle bin. If not, maybe AV deleted them. You can go back to your email and re-download them...

The computer that I am on has Bitdefender, but I generally like Windows Defender better. Unfortunately, I cannot show you the Win Defender quarantine at the moment, but this is Bitdefenders.

I'm now good to go. It seems when I upgraded to the latest software the tune pack files disappeared. no kidding...the only file was the STOCK FILE. Yeah I know thats weird. Again thanks again for the quick respond.

You manually download the tune pack files from the link provided in his email. They were never located within the install directory unless you extracted them there. But from what I've seen, updating the software doesn't remove anything in the directory that is already there.

Yes I know that is really strange. I'm just stating what happened. They were there and then they were gone! I downloaded them and extracted back into where they belong and installed a premium tune tonight. All is well. Thanks for helping. I love this Forum and all it's good people.

So this is somewhat tune related, but a bit of a tangent.

I met up with several fine folks today to flash some tunes and had zero issues with one exception. @littlefish seems to have a damaged OBDII port. When I first connected I got an error for low battery voltage and it was somewhere around 11.8V I think. No big deal, so I hooked up my charger while I flashed the other trucks. Getting back to it, I connected again and still got a low battery voltage message, but this time it was only reading 4.8V (USB voltage), and the flash utility could not connect. Techstream would connect, but would not let me get to any futher than the main screen. Wiggling the Tactrix adapter around I could get it to sort-of work, but the connection was definitely not stable enough for me to try and flash.

We checked grounds and power at the connector and all were fine. There is definitely some physical damage though unfortunately. Looking at the wiring diagrams, it doesn't appear that there is any straight forward way to replace this connector without replacing the entire harness behind the dash. Does anyone have any experience with an issue like this? To my knowledge the 2nd gen was the same way. If that port is damaged, you're pretty much out of luck. I am sure given the time and a nice day I could re-terminate all the wires and put them in a new housing, but there isn't much slack on the cable there. The only other option that we were goin to try was to go direct to the ECU, but The cable I had prepared did not work because I hadn't had a chance to test it out yet.

Looking for some help. Got a new laptop, downloaded 1.2.9.9.2, or whatever the latest vft is. Entered my key, username, pw. I seem to have lost my dtc read and clear buttons, as well as my learned value button. Am I missing something?

They were removed. I believe some people had reported issues so Mat took them out while he looked into it. I've just been going into Techstream and doing it.

Once you connect, click "Engine", then "utility" on the left side. It's the last option in the first column.
