Same, def a time saver and much better than messing with an old brake pad and C-clamp to retract.

The time you'll save is worth the headache IMO. The older I get, I look for ways to work smarter not harder. If it costs me a few bucks so be it. I do brakes for the whole family so I'm probably replacing pads around once every 2-3 months, fleet family mechanic

I bought one somewhat like that Years ago(30) it lives in the tool box with the rest of the Brake tools

 

Waste of money. There's a reason they're typically only used in dry, desert states. They aren't effective in humid climates. You'd be better off with a large fan.

 

That's the main reason I haven't made the purchase. Poor results in humid areas. And that's year round, around here.

I was planning on breaking down the Craftsman tool box and keeping the bottom for the same thing I set up the Lyon as. But now, I can sell the whole unit and get more money.

Today, was A FANTASTIC day.

what hooks did you use for them? Looks good. Been meaning to do that in my shop, but fortunately my jack stands tend to stay under the vehicles for long periods of time so they aren’t laying around unused

 

Just "J" hooks from Home Depot. The 2x4's hold all the weight and the hooks keep them from tipping or falling

 

looks to be general utility hooks with 1x2 supports

 

A sink is a tool, right?

Those of you that have one, what did you get? What did you consider when choosing?

I've seen most get the big plastic tub sink that home depot carries. That said, I was at costco the other day and they had a very nice stainless tub sink with faucet for what I think is a reasonable price. Especially considering the legs are going to be a bit more durable... Out of stock online, but they had it in the store yesterday.

Sorry if this was mentioned somewhere in the thread but where would be the best place to get a tool chest? Looking for something similar to this
