    They’re 315/75/16’s, so a 34,6”x12.4” tire.

I ended up ordering a Canon 18-135mm IS lens based on the recommendations of other people on here and their good experience with it.
I ended up going with the 18-135 that Dan recommended. Although I played around with a Tamron 70-300mm today that a friend of mine has and it was really nice!

Shooting with just the 50mm lens was a chore today, but it did make things fun playing with the depth of field.

Playing around with photos to get better at using everything Lightroom CC can do. Below is my first edit versus the current edit. Any opinions on adjustments? Sometimes I'm worried I over-edit if I stare at the photo for too long. I feel like maybe the the blacks or shadows need to be brighter? I know some of it will be personal preference.

Overall, I think the second looks better. The truck's visible side could be a bit lighter-otherwise, your eye is drawn immediately to the dark spot. You've also lost a bit of the detail on the front as well.

My recommendation would be to work with masks and adjustments for each of the layers.

Yeah, I’m trying to lighten up the shadows some and dropped down the “dehaze” and “clarity” effects some. I think the dehaze effect was the biggest issue causing the very dark areas on the truck.

What exactly do you mean with regards to masks?

If you would like, there are a handful of tutorials here. If you're just learning, start with the first. Masks are addressed specifically. If you do decide to start at the first, I think it helps develop a workflow for processing.

Thanks! I’ll check it out. I’ve been using Lightroom for a couple years now but have been using my old camera gear as an excuse to not make myself better at it. Now that I’ve finally upgraded gear I have no excuses haha

I've been a LR user for a long time. Super glad I made the investment in the webinars. I learned a ton more. Andy, Marc, and David are people I've known for almost 16 years. Pretty crazy-I've gone on trips with them too. Solid team, and the webinars are great too.

@PcBuilder14 i think it looks great! As someone who is learning more and more about editing and color grading i would be happy with this result.
I dont use Lightroom because its subscription based :crapstorm:

But Pixelmator Pro has been pretty good for me and can do alot of - almost all of the same stuff.

Why pay? GIMP works pretty well and it's almost exactly PhotoShop. And it's free 99.

    Whatever you're comfortable with works.

So, I did a thing. I picked up a Canon R5 body and the EF adapter for it. It shoots 47.2MB RAW files. CRAW is 22MB. Processing the RAW files are a lot to process. Dog slow-definitely gonna need an upgrade sometime soon. This is a crop of the full sized image. Still, generates a 2.7mb jpeg.
