So whats everybody's frame height at ride height? I have 21" at full stuff with 38.8" tires so theoretically itll be around 25-26" at ride height. I can move the front axle forward 6.375" forward and make it 18" at full stuff but thre will be an insane amount of chopping and beating and possibly redoing the whole core support.

The oil pan is my problem at the moment. The axle right now is in a great spot for the tire size. Ill send some pics

You definitely want the axle in front of the oil pan. If you're using an IFS steering box, position it as far forward and flat as you can, you basically want the front bolt of the steering box nearly touching the front body mount. Position your axle from there. If you want more up-travel after that, re-do the motor mounts lifting your engine higher.

I learned after redoing my truck the 2nd or 3rd time frame height doesn’t mean much realized uptravel and a decent belly height to wheelbase became important. On 35s I had a 21 ish frame height with. 125 inch wheelbase and 2.5 inches of uptravel. It sucked. On 37s I raised it a little to 23 ish with 3 ish inches of uptravel and worked better but still got high centered/hung up a lot.

my latest was 24 inch frame on 39s and that seemed to be the majic number for my build but with links now I’ll be at 23-24 ish but now have 6-7 inches of uptravel at ride height but am a few inches longer and almost approaching 130 inch wheelbase so may have to raise it an inch or so

Thats what i was looking for. Wheel base was 109" but through that bitch out the window. Until i get the front done ill decide on the rear. What it looks like now it 25" frame height with 4" up travel. Thats whats nice about oris i can change it on the fly(somewhat). To move the axle forward 6 inches to get it 3 inches lower will cause a month or more of headache, cutting, welding, etc..... figure i can run like this and move if need be. If i hadnt use that truss maybe gain 2", but im not taking it off nope not happening.
Current up date got the axle welded in at full stuff to get my links figured out
Passenger side is cleared for left and right turn to lock with 40's
    Bottom links tacked in.
The woman is slowing me down due to me installing a lift on her new jk.

Looks like my lowers are going to be arpund 35 inches hope thats good.
Everything in the 3 link calculator says its good but we'll see
Got one front hub drilled from 8x170mm to 8x6.5 to match the 14 bolt

Nice, I have a cousin that works in Pullman and I work down there from time to time. Keep up the good work on the truck. You're making good progress.

Thanks im at crossroad now. My lower links are straight right now but narrowing the front axle caused them to be mounted inboard roughly 6.25 inches from the edge of the frame to center of joint. Ill post some pics
I dont want to bend them to clear the tires so we will see.

It's good to get some triangulation on the lower links, it reduces flex steer and takes some load away from the panhard bar. As long as you have the clearance, I recommend going that route. If you need to bend your lower links, I suggest getting self centering joints like the Metalcloak Duroflex joints so the link doesn't try to rotate.

Yeah bending them is the last resort. I got both mocked up and looks good. I might put a longer plate in to go along the frame. The drive shaft cleared just fine. I took the tcase out to get the crawl box installed to verify drive shaft clearance

If it was me 1 crawl box is plenty of reduction. The only reason I see for 2 boxes is the wow factor, but at the end of the day it's your build do it anyway you see fit.
