My front right feels like it is rubbing on sharp turns and binding/rubbing over large bumps, thoughts? Its only the front right. Sometimes it feels like its “sticking” or popping back.

any chance you have the sway bar relocation brackets installed? Had to take mine off, was rubbing the skid plate brackets. Made loud rubbing noises over speed bumps. All good now.

I’ll keep an eye on that. It feels like its bottoming out when fully compressed and slso like it is rubbing in full lock turning right. Also slight vibration front right. I’m not mechanical at all so I have no other way to describe it.

basically loud fucking clunk noise on big bumps from front right

Just checked the torque on everything it’s all good. No signs of rubbing anywhere. If I didn’t know better I would say it’s a shitty strut.

The sounds you're describing doesn't make me think it's a bad coilover... More like something is hitting when compressed, and something rubbing when turning. But I'm no professional. You could always swap sides for the coilovers and see if the noise moves with it. If the coilover is bad the noise will change sides.

But first, I'd drive the front up on to a drive up ramp, big rock, or something to compress the front end, leaving the back uncompressed and then check clearances, also check with tires turned full lock both ways.

Maybe a stupid question, but did you loosen the top strut nut at all and torque with the truck off the ground?

I did check the top nut its fine at like 20 everything was torqued on the ground. My guess right now is either bad alignment or bad strut.

Also the “feeling” noise etc it makes is on the rebound. Like its dragging back up.

Is your steering wheel crooked when you are driving straight? Noisy Steering? Pulling to the right or left?Squealing tires? A bad Alignment has a much better chance of causing these issues than the issues you're describing, though it's possible to cause noises in the coilover, I think some of the above symptoms would also be obvious as well if the alignment was that off...

The coilovers have an excellent warranty... But I don't think your noises are due to a faulty coilover or bad Alignment honestly. Nothing is impossible...

A failing ball joint or loose tie rod ends can both cause a clunking noise... Bad control arm bushings could also cause clunking over bumps.... But I still think this is an install error... Something loose or installed improperly. Something with not enough clearance. Sway bar, UCA...

Try the test I described above compressing the front. Have a friend rock and bounce the truck up and down while you look under it. Or just wait until tomorrow and see what the shop says...

OK so drop brackets look like they’re rubbing the frame how do I get them out? I took off the two bolts that are holding the swaybar but there’s one bolts underneath there I can’t get to

OK so with the drop brackets it rubs frame and binds up there and without the drop brackets a sway bar wacks the shocks. Any ideas? Use washers to lower swaybar? Bracket is too big
