@wahoobie just did my truck today, and I could not be any happier. I would recommend him highly if your are close to the VA Beach area! Vibration when accelerating is nearly gone. Now I actually enjoy driving my truck.

We temporarily removed them because people where pressing these buttons like eating candy. They will return with proper instructions on what *exactly* to use them for

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
And for the record for anyone else reading this, my code reader still works if that helps explain anything or not.

Is it recommended to update to the latest Vf Tuner 1.2.9.9.2 or is there another update coming that I should just wait for.

Im currently on Ver: 1.2.8.1 and I’ve been running PapaRee’s Kruiser4.0 and love it! Thanks

Did you click "prepare ECU" or "Read ECU"? You can't read the ECU after you have flashed a tune.

Don't click "read ECU". You need to be online to prepare. It will contact the server and if you haven't already unlocked your VIN, it will request you to use credits to do so.

I used creds with the previous download. Is this new? I haven't had an issue until this download

Ok, so you get that message when you click "prepare ECU"?

If prepare works all you have to do is "select calibration file" and then "calibrate ECM". You don't need to click the "read ECU" button.

What calibration file do I choose. That is the part I don't understand, have never done.

Whatever .VFT file from the tune pack or other source that you want to put on your truck. That part is exactly the same as every other VFTuner version although button labels may be slightly different.

Wait, so it flashes after you prepare the ECU? I have never done that
    Did the interface process change?

Right... That's part of the whole new licensing scheme where it's 4 credits per VIN flashed. You should have gotten 4 credits to use for unlocking your VIN. If you already did that you're good to go. Just pick a file and flash.

It happened a while ago (maybe a couple weeks?) everyone just got 4 extra credits. I don't know if you would have gotten them if you were on a version prior to the new licensing though, Mat would have to answer that. At some point though, you should have gotten a message that said something about having 4 credits delivered. You can verify in VF Tuner by going to Help>license information. It will show available credits. You should have at least 1 there (VFT license) if you already registered your VIN. If you didn't you will probably have 5.
