I like their line of Benjamin’s Best chisels. Affordable and good quality too.

Got a coat of Shellac on the table today to give it a nice amber glow and really bring out the grain. Breaking in a new Fuji sprayer and will try to get a coat or two of WB finish on tomorrow or the weekend.

Spent some time on my table saw recently. It’s a Craftsman 113 that I’ve quite enjoyed, but the fence that came with it was a POS, so I just installed a Shop Fox W2005. Also, made a router table from a leftover chunk of butcherblock countertop and put that on the left side of the saw, and put the wing from that side out on the right side of the saw.

It has a rack and pinion fence which is the best thing on my dewalt. It should keep your cuts nice and strait. I had a lesser one before that with a crappy fence which resulted in bad cuts.

the YT video reviews I've found say it has a lot of what the higher end models have but at a lesser price which is what attracted me to it. for a starter I'm probably gonna jump on it tomorrow.

Just went to HD to get some plywood and 2x4s. What the hell is going on. $35 for a sheet of 1/4" RTD and almost $8 for 8' 2x4s. I saw the 1/2" and 3/4" plywood at $60+ per sheet and pressure treated was near $100
