Anytime. Being in AL, it seems like things in CA are a bit strange. I wouldn't imagine having a hard time selling out there.

During normal times, I'd say so. People that don't "have it", seem to be willing to pay right now. I say list it and if someone is willing to pay...….go for it.

Just ordered a 17 gen 5. Spent 2-3 hrs searching online last night for someone that had one in stock. All but gave up but finally found a shop that showed one available and decided to order it this morning. Paid more than I was hoping thanks to Glock changing the blue label qualifications recently. Had been looking for the 34 gen 5 MOS but just couldn't bring myself to drop $800+ and then another couple hundred for a sight. Hopefully everything works out with this purchase, tried to purchase a 17 gen 5 MOS back in the summer and couldn't get all the paperwork lined up at the time for blue label. Ended up getting the 17 gen 5 without MOS now and had a pay bit over $100 more than the one I tried to buy this summer with MOS :annoyed:

Hate to spend so much money to just lose it in a boating accident, or was I skydiving and it blew off? :anonymous:

Looking for recommendations for a red dot for a gen 3 Glock 19. Not sure if they can easily be removed to still use it on a MCK. One final thought, would a red dot for a G-19 also work for a G26?

I have successfully used the following on my glocks.

Holosun 507C - cheapest ($289) but my sources say that this one will hang with a trijicon RMR. I put it on my sons build that he gets in a few days.
Leupold Deltapoint Pro - this one requires unique milling. It is very reliable and tough. I have several of these on my gen 3 glocks (17, 19, 23). #2238
Trijicon RMR type 2- most expensive, end of world tough. Spec ops runs these...nuff said. #2508, #2482
Trijicon SRO - I had this on my gen 4 G26. It works, but it is prone to lens fracture. Good looking opic, nice field of view, but I would not trust it on a combat gun.#2238

Edit: The Holosun 507C, RMR, and SRO all use the standard RMR footprint you see on most aftermarket slides. The deltapoint uses the JPOINT, DOCTER footprint.

This will be my son's on his 21st Bday in a few days. I finished it from parts and pieces I had laying around. Basically, I had to order the optic and front sight.

trust me....two are enough. 27 year old goes and gets his masters, then moves back into my house until he gets a job. Youngest is about to turn 21. I'm tired of paying for college!

    Finally arrived! G17 gen 5789A3047-2300-446B-A2A7-E330DAA8E107.jpg
Put a few rounds thru it and must say the trigger feels totally different than my 19 gen 4. Seems lighter and more crisp. Can’t wait to get it out and run it at the range before long.

Only disappointment so far is my holster for my 19 with a trl-1 won’t fit the 17. So I’m on the hunt for a decent, tight against the body, concealable holster for the 17 with the light attached. I’d appreciate any links to what you use.

Having paid for your own college and paying your own bills, you sir are as your name suggest...an enigma. It is extremely rare that people actually take care of their own business. Congrats on your achievements.

I lucked into a decent paying low level job in my field my freshman summer. Worked Mon Wed Fri with classes Tues Thurs and at night. Worked 50-60 hr weeks during the summer and saved OT for tuition. It took me 5 years to graduate but I had less than $4k in student loans when I did. Took a high paying overseas opportunity with my employer and paid that off quickly.

Wife graduated with $34k in loans and we paid that off in 4 years. She recently finished her Master's and we paid cash for that with the help of some state grants that were offered due to the need for people in that field.

We've been very blessed. I have coworkers in their mid 50's still paying student loans.
