Nice! Did you install a switch for the leds? I was thinking about doing one that turns on when you open the tailgate.

Is there a certain length kit you ordered ? I had no idea he shipped it with a switch or I would have already purchased from him

Finally got started on the Archive Garage hammer hangers, shackles, u-bolt flip, and Deaver U402 stage 3’s.

The rivets for the factory hangers were no joke, especially since the lower ones attach the spare tire carrier crossmember to the frame. Eventually got them out with cutting the rivet heads down flat to the frame, drilling a 1/4” pilot hole about a quarter of the way through, and then lining up the air hammer into the pilot hole to press them out.

Got the driver side complete and back on the tire and will hopefully finish the passenger side tomorrow.

 

That looks good.

A few questions if you don’t mind...

- Where did you buy them?
- How much lift? About an inch like the Pros?
- Did you add anything else on the rear besides the shocks?

I've said this on here but MAN the seat jackers made a much larger difference than I thought they would. I love it every time I get in my truck. Feels great and you're never expecting it. Also, big thanks for the backseat USB vid. Might knock it out tomorrow. Best damn taco youtube channel there is!!

 

Just thought I would share the link since the u-bolts basically get stretched out according to the article. They’re also relatively inexpensive to replace.

I'm glad they worked out! Artec will be coming out with a full skid package soon, and if it's anything like the 4runner skid package, it will be bad ass! @mphoppe and I both purchased these LCA skids, but they didn't work with the MORE off road skid package, so we had to send them back. Artec customer support was top notch! Thanks for tagging me in your post. TW members should do that more often! Give credit for ideas/suggestions...

I get it, I’ve seen/read that multiple times too. I just found it odd Toyota doesn’t seem to mention it like other parts

I considered getting the Toyota ubolts in the new trd lift kit but last I checked they were 40$ a pop. I got a 1/2” shim for drivers rear to hopefully correct my lean that I need to install and I still need to install the sumo springs- I really would of liked to have those on when I had to pick up a dingo (with the aal only I squatted pretty good). No picture of the truck but this dingo barely fit going into the back, toro tx1000 I think.


It moved this 20 yards in 2hrs (compared to a smaller model 450 or 750 something that took 7hrs for same size 20yards

I am a little confused. A year or two ago, people were putting seat raising spacers on the back of the seats. Now everyone is raising the front! What gives??
