So their permit takes place of a NICS, and they have a record of those that have a permit and most likely a pistol. Sounds too much like registration to me. And you may have to wait up to 14 days for approval. Hmm.

The only positive thing is that it's valid for 5 years, so the way it sounds is you don't have to wait for a NICS check when you make a new purchase within that 5 years. Is that correct? Or is that only good for a single purchase?

Vermont never had that option, so many go across the border and get an NH CCW so that way they can carry concealed there, and whatever states reciprocate with out-of-state NH permits.

We need a national carry permit, one that doesn't require registration of our guns or some sort of identifier to the public that we carry. The laws state to state vary so much and it's a cluster fuck.

I like shooting and trust my G19 the most, but it's hard to conceal carry it most of the time (Florida clothing), so I carry the little 42 the most.
