    That seems like some incredibly important information to sell their left out. I'm assuming a four-cylinder otherwise it would be stated all over the ad. Also he wants 9 grand for a salvage truck, that's a reach.

    Prepping my 4x4 5VZ 5spd 1996 standard cab for sale as mentioned earlier. Half way through the 4runner seat/double decker console conversion but might revert to the bench seat for selling it. Would love to let someone from tacomaworld get first dibs before the fb marketplace vultures.

    At this point the only thing that would possibly put more wear on are rotating and heat cycle parts in the engine. Driveline components, axle seals, heck even engine seals will all need replacing or addressing in a 20+ year old truck.

    Yeah, compared to my 4runner with less mileage thats clearly seen a rougher life, the tacomas transmission shifts better and it has way less overall NVH feedback surprisingly. If someone saw it in person they wouldnt believe the chassis mileage, which is unfortunate because I feel like the sheer number will scare away most people that aren't super familiar with how well these platforms age.
