    Still have two, and I only stopped posting because for the P. Murinus, all I ever get is a threat pose.

    For the M. Balfouri though, that thing hasn't molted in mooooonths and really should be due at any point.

    It's funny though, I thought about dumping a few pics for @Abeyancer to show him the many threat poses I've received, all on different days at random.

    @Abeyancer

    This one was my new world, L. Parahybana ; not so much that his venom would hurt but his fangs were freaking long as he was over 8" and still growing -

    20200605_224818.jpg

    Then, you've got the M. Balfouri...I have many pictures of it having molted into its colors. Thing is, it still hasn't fully grown to see it's bright velvet blue legs. Being an old world though, that venom will fuck you up and is more prone to threatening/striking versus running away -

    Picture above is before its last molt...probably last year in August or September?

    I'm going on 220k on my front axle, never rebuilt. According to mud it should've exploded and killed my children and the neighbors children at least three times by now.

    And here's the P. Murinus, which is known by many as the OBT, Orange Baboon Tarantula. The nickname Baboon is used to describe a highly defensive tarantula...but a better meaning for OBT is Orange Bitey Thingy -

    With the many pics, this page will quickly change.

    It's really just for Jimmie's amusement.

    Actually, don't belong in the US at all :rofl:

    They're both old worlds; one from Yemen's remote island, Socotra and the other found mainly near the horn of Africa.

    Seriously, for some reason those guys are really against full floaters running oiled hub bearings (grease isn't a better lubricator folks). And if you ever have any front end noise all diagnosis stops until you provide reciepts for at minimum the $2k required to rebuild the front axle seals and trunions and hubs.

    Avoid pets that willingly take a threat pose over anything else.

    I didn't say I want to stay here just good to viset and get some good food. Plenty of good photography jobs in Tahoe.

    You can only purchase from wits' end or one of the forum parts guys. But wits end appears to be only servicing his turbo customers anymore and the forum parts guys are retired. So what does that leave. You'll get shamed for using PartSouq over wits' end. Despite the 300% decrease in parts cost.

    Yeah we were looking at Truckee for a bit. Man home prices there are pretty high though from what I saw. I hear it's pretty hard to get wildfire insurance too these days if you live in those areas, same thing down here in the mountains
