What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Had to gut the interior after the incident where I got stuck in a lake (Instagram @jwizzmasterwet for more on this!)

Took advantage of the situation and installed Noico 80mil deadening and 150mil Insulation.

 

I put the X15 on my 2021 TRD Sport and love it. It sits right flush with the bed and the material has a texture to it that is much nicer than just vinyl. Best part is that on Tacos the X15 does not use clamps, rather it comes with brackets that bolt into the bed rails for a real custom fit.

 

Posted the topper yesterday, but just added a nice couple coats of black paint, and some tint to one window (next one tomorrow). Looks better IMO with no bare aluminum/silver.

 

How's the fit on it since it's a second gen topper?

 

fits perfectly, just trimmed about 1/8" off the rear window frame on the bottom, wish it was 1-2" shorter but no real gaps or any fitting issues

Id check facebook marketplace if you haven't already. There were several in my area that fit the bill.

 

Been scanning that and craigslist for a few months. Just an unlucky area I guess! One will pop up eventually

Installed a 6 button aux beam to control the Christmas tree

 

You can’t get the knob anymore. It’s a TPM Performance weighted shift knob.

Bent some scarp metal I had laying around to make up a mount for the scangauge, still need to set all the sub gauges to what I want.

 

Got the leaf springs and Archive Garage stuff finished. Rides pretty stiff as expected, but feels planted on the road and less boat-y.

Installed my DIY 'behind-the-seats' storage platform today!

 

Added some Husky Weatherbeaters. The mats for the back seat won't arrive till sometime next month. I'm also looking at ways to replace the Husky logo stickers with something custom.

 

If youre in/near Texas this might be worth the drive. Quicksand too.

I've got a soft cover over the bed, so I'm not sure if it will fit "just right."
