i REALLY wish this would’ve been an ABS setup that i could've used. If you don't absolutely have to sell it, put a $200 add up on marketplace and CL and leave it up. someone will need this.

Did you cross post this in the New England Buy/sell/trade thread? I swear someone was just looking for a full rear a few weeks ago. Possibly Im thinking of @jmferg ...

I need this but I'm in Michigan. My '02 pumpkin is bleeding from rot! If you are willing to ship it I will pay for the hassle.

Same with my 02 pumpkin. I wound up limping it along with JB weld. I actually planned on using this to replace, but just never got around to it. How would I go about shipping this? It's not like I can carry it into UPS.. if you have any idea let me know .

I get it. First a couple questions. I'm not a skilled mechanic and am learning as I repair/replace/build my truck. My current rear axle is suited for ABS but my truck does not have ABS. Meaning, there is a port for the ABS sensor on the axle housing and the ABS sensor ring is on my axle next to the axle seal ring. I'm assuming this axle assembly will still work despite this difference. Can anyone confirm? Also, I have the locker. Would your assembly work for me and would my locker still work if I attach my third member to your axle housing? I'm really just in need of the housing and backing plates but will take this and make it work if possible. I hope this makes sense - if not please go easy on me, I'm learning as I go! As for shipping, if this can work for me, do you have access to a warehouse with a dock? If not, I'll do some research.

I cant say wether swapping the 3rd will retain your e locker. The only reason I have this rear is because when my son bought his 96, the PO swapped this rear for a locking rear. I planned on using this with my 02, but never did. I bought a 20 and so did my son, so this is the last remaining 1st gen spare part I have and I'd like to see it go to good use

Maybe someone with a little more knowledge of the mechanics of a 3rd will chime in. I really need to get mine swapped so my fingers are crossed! (Notice the JB)

Oh yeah! It’s so bad that I cannot get the fill plug off and have to add diff juice through the breather valve hole. Classy!

An elocker axle 3rd member is not compatible with this axle housing. They will not bolt in without some serious modification

Not trying to miss a sale, but someone makes a rear pumpkin replacement. You have to get someone with some welding skills. Basically you cut the old pumpkin off and weld the replacementcap on.
