    TLDR....
    fill up gas tank, take truck to scales and weigh. take the GVWR shown on the door panel minus the dead weight of the truck to get your max payload.
    go home, load up camper (preferably fully loaded with all food, water, LP, etc) and head back to scales for a re-weigh. then pray the that difference between the two scale readings is within your payload

    can pick you up, but you got to get across the line, might need to hoof it thru the bush; otherwise the proper procedures are still closed, both directions (though exceptions are made for a few local communities that rely on cross border between AK & Canada, for access to shared schools and food runs).

    Considering your logistical connections Rob, is there not an option for a C-5 / C-17/ or even C-130 delivery from Bangor to Malmstrom? Essential civilian support? National Guard exercise? just throwing ideas out there.

    while i was still shopping and trying to figure out what i wanted i made a spreadsheet with all sorts of specs on campers. thought my head was going to explode if I had to crunch one more number. so i bought a truck i liked and hoped for the best :notsure:

    If I had a finger brake, I'd do it in metal. This would be a lot of small bends. Yeah the top is for the stove, middle for plates and cups and bowls and the bottom will hold the gas, coffee pot and other cooking stuff. I just don't have the gear to work with wood. I have to cut with is a 25 year old crapsman circular saw. LOL

    My take on the whole deal is he left the Cleetus operation to improve on his insecurity issues. He was getting eaten alive in the comments on cleetus's videos. He was just trying too hard to fit in. I think this was a horrible decision. He and the girl friend don't have a clue what they're doing and someone is going to get hurt. If you watch the before and after of his girl, she's scared shitless. I don't think they are going to last too long.
